Upper Bhavani Lake - Ooty, Tamil Nadu

Upper Bhavani lake is a very wonderful lake and has lots of water in it all year through. The lake is wonderful and has great natural beauty. The Nilgiri Tahr can be found here. The sanctuary also is home to such animals like includes tigers, jackals, jungle cats, wild dogs, Sambhar, giant squirrels, Nilgiri langurs, and leopards.

The Upper Bhavani is ideal for trekking, hiking and for walks. There is a guest house here, for those who wish to spend the night here.
