Trekking

Safari Land is in the proximity of the famous Sholur / Bokkapuram BRIDAL PATH. This was the rout used by the British to connect Ooty to Mysore much before the roads were built. We specialize in taking our Guests up to Sholur view point by 4 X 4 Jeep and then our professional trekkers will accompany our guest�s through The 8 KM pictiours rout, crossing two streams in the thick undergrowth. Good chances of seeing the Elephant, Bison & host of birds. Lunch/Tea provided during the trek down hill, almost 4000 feet.
Timing for the trekking will be 4.00 pm or 6.00 am.

Jeep Safaris

We specialize in exposing our guests to wild life, with their personal safety measures in mind. The famous Siriur temple, and on route Anaikatti village are paradise for wild life viewing. This deciduous forest stretch with bamboo and dry nallas make it ideal Tiger country. The Moyar road is also ideal wildlife viewing rout as the entire road of 10 km runs parallel to the canal from Maravakandi Dam to the Moyar gorge.So wildlife is always on the move, going for, and returning from this perennial water source. Plenty of elephants can be spotted on this road. Timing for the Safari will be 5.30 am or 4.00 pm.

Elephant ride

Mudumalai wild life sanctuary is famous for its flora and fauna. The best possible way of observing wild life is from elephant back .At Theppakadu, (Mudmalai wild life sanctuary) the forest department organizes elephant rides and safari land has a tie up .Our valuable guests will be taken early morning and evening to these elephant rides , by prior appointments only .

Fishing

Nilgiris biosphere is renowned for its Trout and Masher Fishing . The Nilgiris Administration issues seasonal fishing and angling licenses. Our professional guides accompany anglers in to deep and remote locations, off the beaten track, for our guests to enjoy unparallel angling experiences.
